setting analysis

Walmer Castle
We think that Walmer castle would work well for the setting of our film as it is aged and eerie. It is local to where we live therefore would be very practical, the only problem we face is finding out it would be available for hire and whether there would be a cost for this. However the setting would work very well.

The Beach
We are also considering make our film setting Walmer beach as this is a very lonesome place at night. Its quiet and can be very scary. Especially by the pier. This would work well for out film setting although it would be weather permitted and therefore a risk to base our entire film there.

Yasmin’s House
We think that Yasmin’s house would work well as not only is it practical but we would have the entire house to film in. We could therefore take different shots from different rooms, (rather than the beach, where its all the same) and have more variety. It also ensure that we can film not matter the weather or time of day, as we have artificial light and gas heating.
